Been a while redux...

It's summer and I last posted in May. What's been happening? Exciting stuff here and there. Baby brother graduated college, friend divorcing, another friend marrying, a birthday, and a trip to Scotland. The daycare remains great and the kids and a chipmunk keep this tired guy's heart beating loudly. "The Alpha Test" is (in true last-minute movie fashion) committing itself to a shooting schedule and, if all goes well, people will be watching it this time next year. The fall semester starts in three weeks. The last one. College is sort of like this game of LaCrosse in gym class I never thought I'd understand or be able to play. Don't actually know what I'll do with myself when it's conquered and done. But the summer is nice and it's not TOO hot and I promise to type on this thing a little more every now and then. Maybe start doing some fun creative stuff, again, as opposed to a very periodic journal.
