ghost time
Night class was cancelled tonight. Got three hours of time I didn't have before. What did I do? Not much. Went home, had dinner, and read on the couch. Then back to the writing grind, the stationary bike, and watering a front lawn that will hopefully be brought back from the dead. I thought about lots of cool activities, though. Maybe I'd peruse the paper and see if there are any salsa, swing, or ballroom dancing classes I can go to. But my girlfriend was at work and it's hard to dance by yourself. At any rate, the ambitions were lofty but the end result lacked real bite. Ghost time is kind of like that five dollar bill you find in your pocket you forgot that you had. There's a lot you can do with the money 'cause it's outside your budgeting and you've planned the dough from existence. But you might just get a shaved ice or something. Shaved ice tastes nice, though.

I've been watching:
--Lost: Season Two (great fun!)
I've been reading:
--The Best of The Spirit by Will Eisner
--The Fixer by Joe Sacco
--Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud
I've been listening to:
--Modern Times by Bob Dylan (Highest possible musical recommendation! Song and dance fun that can't help but be great art.)
