Weddings

Two of 'em lately. The sister's was in early August and the friend's this past weekend. Extreme case of warm fuzzies with both. Most of the fam came to the sister's and we played "prickly pear," set up tables poorly, went bowling, danced like maniacs, and ran non-profit taxi services.

The friend's was a lot like a ten year post-high-school reunion. Lot of people I haven't seen in ten years and didn't know that I missed. Such is life...

There was more dancing, skanking (which IS dancing and a staple of the previously mentioned time period), praying, wine drinking (What are ya gonna do at the Ste. Chapelle winery? Though my post-birthday-enforced oath of less booze is holding...), and wedding pictures on motorcycles for everyone!

Is it possible to be envious of certain stations in life but grateful for your own at the same time?
